Season 2 even better than the first
Season 1 was great. It took a few shows for the show to hit its stride and the actors to settle into their characters. But it was lively, funny, and all around great entertainment.
For Season 2, the writing was even better. The story lines surprising and creative. I loved it and can't wait for Season 3.
Sam Elliott was a surprise player. Hubba hubba.
This show deals with so many topics in a funny way...topics that aren't covered in any other show. Why is that? Anyway, it's great to see older people in various life situations, being funny and living life to the fullest. Along with young people and kids. That IS real life, after all.
I wish I were like Lilly Tomlin's character, but I'm afraid I'll never be that free and bohemian. Of course, she has a bit of money, so it's easier to experiment with ritualism and art and other things when you don't have to worry about paying the bills, I guess. Still, one can strive to get involved in things more and experiment, like her character. Jane Fonda has always been an under rated actress, IMO. She is superb in this series. How does her hair always look so good, even though she changes it so often?
