from the acting, the realistic honesty of the plots/life situations and circumstances, and the amazing chemistry between the main characters to the uplifting combination of sad and touching tender moments and hilariously rip-roaring explosions, this show is a gift of life-affirming goodness..

without a doubt the most honest, poignant and realistic look at 'life' ever put into episodic format..

finally, i'd like to say that, in my humble opinion, these amazing actors -fonda, tomlin, sheen, waterston et al.- put in the finest work i have ever seen them put in before in any of their previous endeavors.. from this point forward, i shall forever remember this as their finest acting hour..

i am now totally taken and enamored with jane fonda and lily tomlin.. totally! lily i already loved but jane has become a revelation to me.. forget what you thought you knew of her.. she will blow your mind in her depiction of grace hanson.. can't get enough of this woman!
