well Lily does say vagina so I'm pretty sure no word is taboo on this show.
I'm not under the impression either of the men is bisexual though. It feels like they were just doing what men that age were supposed to do when they were young: get married to a nice woman, get kids.
But let's wait and see.

No, and they really should.
Martin Sheen's character seems like someone who's only really attracted to men, and was basically in a sexless marriage with Jane Fonda's character. But Sam Waterston's character comes across rather differently. They should at least mention the possibility of him being bi.
Yet, Grace and Bob are the couple with natural children, while Frankie and Sol, who truly have love for each other, adopted theirs.
To me it seems that Bob felt the need to fit into society, so he married pretty and fathered two daughters. Meanwhile, Sol fell in love with a person who happened to be a woman and then later fell in love with a person who happened to be a man.
In keeping with the tradition of bi erasure in TV and movies, no. No, they do not say it. And I really think they should, at least possibly in Sol's case.
shareOne of the things I like about this show is that they don't put labels or explanations on everything. If someone has a limp, they just have a limp...no story about why. Like Sol and Frankie's kids...they are just the kids, no explanation (no that I've seen yet anyway).
