Love the story, but hate the irresponsible schmuck husbands

Frankly the very notion that two men would dump their faithful wives after 40 years of marriage to be with each other reeks of absolute irresponsibility. Just think, two elderly women in their 70s suddenly out on the road, a social joke left on their own to fend for themselves, at an age when everything is ideally settled. It would have been nerve wrecking for any human being. A relationship is about sacrifice. There's a woman, a faithful 70 year old who depends on you and you just dump her for your fairy tale romance. Frankly it would have been better if the guys had their clandestine romance on the side without having to grow two devoted women who equally suffered out on the street. It's just plain awful irresponsibility and jus wrong in so many ways
I watch the show coz I super root for the women and hope one of those ex husbands ends up with chlamydia

I think they should have come out much much sooner. Ten years even seems ridiculous but in that amount of time they should have been able to make the decision at least to divorce their wives and leave a respectable gap before "declaring their love." I get that for maximum entertainment value doing both together makes sense. But real intelligent people would realize that divorce announcement and we are gay and getting married announcement should NOT have been done together.
