me of the film Inside Llewyn Davis from what I've heard. I must rewatch that film, haven't watched it in ages.

shareThe films are not at all alike. "A Street Cat Named Bob" is a lot simpler and more straightforward than ILD and rather more uplifting in its tone. ILD is the better film by quite some way, but I think Bob is definitely worth seeing.
