I've read the film will be released in UK in 2016. And I've read about Sony picking up film distribution for several other countries. But I haven't read anything specific about a US release. Does anyone have any info on this? I've read all the books and am very anxious to see the film.

shareI hope you are correct. I've been waiting and watching a long time for the release. IMDB shows Nov-18 but it is not at any theatres in my city of 2-million people. Thank you for giving a hoped-for date to look forward to.
shareI had forgotten about the US tradition of blink-and-you'll-miss-it movie runs. SCNB is finishing at theatres near me this Thursday, after two weeks, and I haven't had a chance to see it. I will have - it's coming to New Zealand, where I now live, in March. But I was looking forward to seeing it with family and friends in the States.
