Pixar is dead!

Fact.

reply

Nope.

Disney replaced creativity and masterful storytelling with cash grab merchandising-focused movies. Which is sad.

"You keep him in here, and make sure HE doesn't leave!"

reply

False. Bears, Beats, Battlestar Galactica.

Inside Out proves this wrong. They want to redeem themselves for Cars 2. They know it was bad and they want Cars to end on a high note.

reply

Inside Out disagrees with you

reply

So does Finding Dory

reply

Heck even though The Good Dinosaur wasn't one of their best films. I would say that it was still good enough to disprove the original posters comment. In my opinion of course.

reply

I agree with you

reply

Thus far, Cars 2 is their one single bad movie. So no, they are not dead.

Actually the funny thing is that Pixar has come full circle in regards to ILM. Pixar started out as a division of ILM that did the digital animation. It was later spun off as a separate company that Steve Jobs later bought. Then along comes Disney and forms a creative partnership with them and eventually buys them. Then later on Disney purchases Lucasfilm. Now Pixar and ILM are back together under the Disney banner.

reply

Well the "dead" Pixar will still be making money and movies. Fact!
