G or PG?

The first two were G rated, however not only people complained about Cars 2 being G rated, but Finding Dory got a PG rating. I wouldn't be surprised if it gets a PG rating, but it's Pixar's most kid-friendly franchise, and most "Cars" fans are children. So a G rating is also a possibility.

I guess G.

Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, and Metallica are Bronies

reply

With how they rate movies today and what goes into them, nothing is G-rated anymore...

the G rating barely exists anymore, heck even the care bears movie would be PG now a days, that's how strict the MPAA are these days.

Judging by the teaser trailer, it also seems that it will be more mature than the first two movies, so I guess the PG rating is pretty much guaranteed.

reply

Do you not get my point? The MPAA is a lousy rating system, run by some of the most corrupt people ever. Seriously, for them showing female nipples and saying the f word is more inappropriate than ripping someone to shreds or impaling a person.

Always follow my rules, even if I don't

reply

yeah the MPAA's guidelines on how films are rated seem to be very random. lost in translation and the remake of total recall both had one scene that showed tits for only a couple seconds and they ended up getting opposite ratings, WTF?????

reply

This will by far get a PG rating.

reply

Let's get away from the 'dark' trailer for a moment. If Toy Story 3 got a G, there's still a safe bet this could get the same. Incinerator scene much? Heck, Cars 2 still got a Rated G.

reply

I'm going with PG. In the past Pixar always got G unless they really deserved it. However, Finding Dory earned a PG despite not being anymore graphic than the first, so anything is possible.

reply

PG most likely.
