What a profoundly dark trailer for a kids movie.

How else was anyone going to be get curious about Cars 3? By showing more Mater?
I guess the movie was going to make money no matter what, but Pixar probably got pricked by the reception of Cars 2. This one at least seems to be trying to tell a story.

Besides, the tone looks no darker than The Incredibles. Audiences just arent used to a gritty trailer to a kids movie. Age of Ultron had dark trailers too.
