Very Dark

Looks dark with the heavy subject of vehicle collisions and associated deaths. The heavy breathing doesn't help being reminiscent of somebody who has suffered a serious accident and losing their breath, blood and potential life. This is more for adults than kids or says.

This is more for adults than kids it says. Dark and depressing.

It's as if Pixar was thinking like this when they came up with that trailer. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=mvmAa1cYZK4

It's still Cars 3. I'll believe it when I see it. Pfft, just kidding. I'm not watching this.

Whatever you are, be a good one.

reply

I'm sorry but if that is 'too dark and scary' for kids then your kid needs to toughen up.

reply

If your kid can't differentiate between a movie about cars and real life and not tell the difference you've got a problem-kids need to toughen up-it's just a movie for crying out loud-plus the new trailer shows him okay-you wanna complain about movies being dark and not for kids? Show them old yeller they'll toughen up real quick

reply

It's CARS... And it's pixar. It's not gonna be dark.

reply

It does have a dismal tone to it.

Cars came out in 2006. Chances are, even if the youngest viewers were 5, they're close to 15 now and I think they can take it.

reply

I fail to see logic in that? Sequels are only meant for them who have seen the original the year they were released?

reply

I'd try to explain but my guess it would be like explaining calculus to my dog with the one caveat being that after a while my dog would actually begin to understand calculus.
