I didn't understand how Marisa/KC's conflict was resolved. K.C. is still a bad friend for bailing again (I know it's not her fault, but from Marisa's view...).

The book was more or less her way of saying, I'm sorry, I'll try to be here when you need me from now on.

I wonder how long it'll be before she's let in on the secret. I'd kinda prefer if she finds out on her own as opposed to KC telling her.
