Disney Channel is so sexist nowadays!
What the hell do they have against boys?
shareI thought it was common knowledge that DC has been gearing more towards young girls.
And that doesn't make them sexist

Yes it does. The majority of Disney Channel shows have had female lead chrachters.
shareProbably over-compensating for killing all the Moms in Disney Movies.
shareThe majority of Disney Channel shows have had female lead chrachters.
Not with shows like Good Luck Charlie, Girl Meets World, or Austin & Ally but with shows like this, Shake It Up, and Liv & Maddie, it really does!
shareThey assume girls will watch Disney Channel and boys will watch Disney XD with 3-5 different Marvel shows, Doctor Who and Gravity Falls, etc.
Because it's not like both channels appeal to both genders...
(eye roil)
Appealing to boys was the whole reason Disney bought Marvel because they felt they had plenty of girl appeal with the princesses.
WHAT?!?! Appealing to boys was the ONLY reason Disney bought Marvel? Not because Marvel makes a ton of money and has really good movies? I'm thirteen, and there are tons of Disney movies about princesses I like - The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Frozen, etc. Oh, and Disney only bought Star Wars to appeal to boys as well, because NO girls like Star Wars OR Marvel.
shareNo, but when Zendaya, or at least her character, says stuff like, "I can pull off a boy. I just need to drop a few IQ points" DOES qualify Disney of being sexist.
shareSexist maybe but racist is wrong word choice.

yes, sexist... my bad... that day I was spending a lot of time online with racists.. so the word "racist" was kind of stuck with me at that time.
shareUh oh someone is starting young.
shareAgree, if you don't think Disney Channel is sexiest, I suggest you watch "Zapped" and "How to Build a Better Boy".
