KC Undercover Episode 125 - Twas the Fight Before Christmas - Discussion

Not a perfect episode, but I really enjoyed the show's Christmas special here. For a kid's program they accurately portrayed a lot of the issues between parents and grandparents that go on during the holidays.

Grandpa's reaction to KC revealing they are spies with the repeated "What?" query was one of the highlights, as well as the great, but underused, Marisa, whenever she got on screen.

It's kind of sad that this show is a better family comedy than you get with network sitcoms like Blackish.

I usually can't even really get into network sitcoms.

I like the show, but I'm an adult and I think it gives the worst parenting messages I've seen in a while on tv (I don't watch too many sitcoms though).

The grandpa couldn't be proud of his accountant son and spent years putting him down for it but is suddenly proud when the dad is a spy? what kind of message is that to kids?

The careless neglect in the way they treat Ernie forgetting his birthdays always comparing him to his sister?

And lets not forget Judy who doesn't need presents because shes a robot but she's also a sister (and I'm guessing a representative of fostering).

Let yourself be happy
