Matthew Perry, I believe in ya!

Perry was great during the recording of Fallout: New Vegas, I've seen him in the promos and he looked recovered and all good. I don't know what happened later but he sure doesn't look and feel right in this show. Blatantly obvious having a relapse on-camera, however I believe he's strong enough to get over it and go back to the young-spirited and energetic Perry he once was. I hope this show is successful enough (though his previous cancelled shows were good too, I don't know what idiot keeps cancelling those for no reason whatsoever).

So cut him some slack, I'm sure he's trying and needs some love. Also whoever writes this show, stop with the "I need an old woman as a girlfriend or else I can't function" narrative. We don't need this bull *beep* Oscar should know how to make the best out of single life and not be desperate for women. Look at the Joey show and you'll see how that cucky plot ends. With cancellation. Anyways, Perry, I hope you're reading this - you're an awesome guy, super loved, I know you think others should help you if you're an addict but I've been an addict and nobody helped me, now I'm clean. What magic was this? Will power and distraction. You can do it. Get your self-respect and acting skills back and make the best out of this show!

+1 everything you said. I am not an addict but I know how it is to have to fight something that no one else but you can feel and understand. I hope season 3 is going to be even better.

I am not sure I understand what you mean about oscar needing an older woman bit. It seems oscar was happy to be a married guy while it lasted and then depressed as a divorcee, so what's wrong with it? Are you accusing the show of being too pc?

I guess that's one way of putting it. I just don't want the whole show to be a cheap love flick like Friends was, teasing a relationship between Oscar and {insert name here} for 10 seasons, instead of Oscar just being a happy bachelor. The movie should focus on Oscar's relationship with Felix, not on Oscar trying to get some elderly booty since like I said, that scenario turns the characters pathetic and cheesy and the Joey show did it and we all know how that ended...
