and do not have to witness this train wreck of a show. Not to mention Klugman and Randall. I am a huge fan of The Odd Couple, both the movies and the TV show. I wanted to like this show..I have tried my best to enjoy this show but it is just impossible. It is absolutely awful. It makes Two Broke Girls seem funny.

They haven't tried to copy the other versions that came before it. I'm glad they didn't. I think they have done a good job reinventing the show for the current times. It's doing well because it's a simple funny sitcom which does not have too much depth but just enough for us to invest feelings for each of the main characters. Tv shows have gotten so serious now days and it's refreshing to see a light hearted comedy show on tv.
shareLennon is good as Felix but I think they should have given him a couple of children. Felix needs more depth as a character than just being manic all the time.
As for Matthew Perry, what can I say that hasn't been said many times. I hope his acting is better in the upcoming 3rd season.
I caught a few minutes of this while waiting for Mom to start and it was a mild shock that something so mercilessly wretched as it is not only got green lit at some point but that it was coming back for more. It is common for folks to resort to hyperbole in describing things they dislike but this might really be the worst TV show ever.
