i was hoping the twist at the end is the alien was doing its own survival space tv show... like a reality show for its people to show how to survive a crash on a alien world.

instead of being a invasion or what ever.

Yeah better idea , how to skin a human prey etc maybe you should be a script writer = shame they went for the hoary old chesnut alien invasion thing!
