Episode 5. I keep losing interest. It’s too predictable

So they killed 2 side characters and I suppose to feel sorry for boy and his brother. But I felt nothing. Since they were introduced only to be killed off. And there was no way show would let them go with Joel and Ellie. Since we didnt see them in trailer for winter times. And Last of Us is being known for "sad game where everyone cries because it keeps killing characters".

So its pretty much a lock now that every side character that Joel and Ellie will run into would just die. No spoilers for the game please. We are "game free" people here on board mostly.

They killed Fringe actress. They killed gay couple. And now they killed Henry and that boy. Hard not to laugh how show killed woman, gays and black people. And deaf black boy on top of it. Did woke crowd throw a tantrum over this already? Give them time to process it :)

So why care about anyone since we know that Joel and Ellie will never die and are not in danger and all side characters will just die. I actually laughed when boy revealed he was beaten. Because it was such a cliche . It would be actually very brave and surprising if show would get those two to walk away into happy ending, having their own path somewhere out of screen. But nope, show is doing Walking Dead style of: "Kill characters in a sad way for gotcha viral moment so that people would cry over them and talk bout it on twitter". With Walking Dead it ended up with people just losing interest and stop watching since why care about anyone if they will die anyway.
