Great performance from her. Elgort and DeBose were great too, DeBose deserved her academy award for best supporting actress.

Some what uneven movie though... I paused it to go get another drink, at this time I thought I was maybe 20 minutes from the end, I was 60! The last hour went by a lot quicker to be fair but the first 90 minutes was a bit of a drag. A few too many prolonged choreographed dancing and singing numbers.

Good production values. The cinematography, choreography and costumes were all great.

Zegler sang well which bodes well for Snow White as I imagine she'll get a few musical numbers in that movie.

This bombed. Shazam 2 bombed. Snow White will bomb. Hunger Games prequel will no doubt bomb.

Why do studios keep hiring her?

Outed as an alt right incel.

This was her first movie (no one knew who she was before it). She was the third billed villain in Shazam! which flopped like all other DC movies (lets blame the third billed villain for the flop!).

Snow White will be a big hit and the Hunger Games will do well.

They'll keep hiring her because she's a superbly talented actress.
