Yeah another dark gritty remake. Next well see a dark gritty remake of Mary Poppins. I hope this fails so we don't have to suffer that.

Is "Dark and Gritty" the modern Hollywood term for "Retarded and Talentless" Seriously, what do the writers say when they bring this *beep* to the boss :
*beep* Writer:"Hey sir, do remember a few years back when that very mediocre Wizard of Oz movie came out? Well my idea is we do the same *beep* yet again only we should add blood and lust *beep* like that."
Boss: "Is that all you got? Give me something fresh man."
*beep* Writer: How about this sir, let's raise the stakes by stretching this moderately short story out over an entire TV series!"
Boss: "What's the average IQ in the U.S. today?"
*beep* Writer: "Right about where mine is at sir. 76."
Boss: *beep* yeah! I'm sold. These idiots will watch anything."
