I have no idea.. but Wizard of Oz has been done to death
maybe they should make Wizard of Oz In Space - Dorothy can be a badass chick with a laser gun and her boobs hanging out, tin man can be a cyborg, toto can be some cute little alien, nevermind it's probably already been done
anyone going to watch this? I am seriously wondering who will. Nothing wrong with whatever people like, I just don't know who this is for?
Apparently not for me. It just looks like a money grab trying to make the original idea all bad @$$. This doesn't appeal to me, but wondering who it does appeal to?
What I don't understand is the directing choice.
Love me some Tarsem Singh, but his style isn't an easy sell to bored housewives and their disinterested husbands as they lay in bed and stare mindlessly at the tv.
And if they curtail his directing to churn out pablum for half-awake suburbanites--like most of NBC's shows--why the hell would you use a director that's known for his off-beat visual artistry?
Man baby SJWs who believe darkness-induced audience apathy is a plus.
