Cause if it premieres on Friday it won't last long

It's most likely going to depend on the ratings/how profitable it is. If it makes NBC money then I'm sure they will do another season. If it doesn't it will most likely end after one season.
shareI'm pretty sure this was intended as a mini-series, not an open-ended series. Which means it would have to be phenomenally successful for the executives to try to produce a sequel season for it.
