How did the witch's body get back?

I've just binge watched the first few episodes, really not sure how I feel about the show. So will persist with it, but one thing that annoyed me was how on Earth did the East witch's body (once she was actually dead by the gunshot) get to the Emerald City so quickly? They made it seem instantaneous! Or at least the same day, or next!

Which is perplexing considering it's taking Dorothy days on end to even get portions of the way along the same road road, all while going unnoticed on this seemingly deserted track!.

I am also assuming the sister witches were able to sense she was actually dead, and were perhaps able to locate the the body through their magical bonds?

Riddle wrapped inside an enigma, wrapped inside a taco.

The witches felt indeed that East was truly dead. The rest...I don't know.

The witches may have some form of teleportation or portal creation. In the third episode, Dorothy used the tornado at East's castle to teleport back to the tribal free lands that we see in the first episode. This would explain how they were able to retrieve East's body so quickly.

West definitely felt the death of East. They made it a point to show her coming out of the brothel with a burst of emotion and sadness after she killed herself.

Glinda seemed aware of her death as well and was the one who retrieved her body. So they likely could sense where it was and Glinda used some form of magic to teleport there.
