How did the witch of the west know the way to hold a gun?

Her sister wasn't all that bright but did I miss how she was able to pull the trigger like an outtake from a Clint Eastwood movie?

"It's the system, Lara. People will be different after the Revolution."

Guns are not particularly difficult to figure out, especially if one has already seen the end-result.

By the way Dorothy back away when she pointed at her while examining it.

And West must be more mechanically inclined then her sister was.

What the others said, but I'd question how come Dorothy was savvy enough to remove the bullet that should have been in the slide/barrel (or even when she had time to do it).

No tears please, it's a waste of good suffering.

reply

She didn't. It came out.

The magazine came out. AFAIK after firing (at Lion-O) a bullet would automatically have been chambered and would remain in the chamber if the magazine was ejected unless manually removed by operating the slide.

She also did see what happened to her sister when she read Dorothy's memories, so she saw the gun in action. Keep in mind that we saw the edited down version of the screen show. West probably saw the entire seen, not just the snippet that they showed us. There's no reason to show us the entire scene again.
