It's either going to be Dennis from "Split" or that wendigo thing from "Over the Garden Wall", because clearly the writers of this show don't have anything clever or interesting of their own to blend into a smooth narrative.
I suppose it could be The Devil, but since that would make it 'biblical', there's absolutely no way this clearly PC production would EVER go that route.
We're two episodes in. I'm willing to give it a chance. I personally think the show is pretty interesting. But I think the beast came in the form of the tornado and was coming after her mother, and probably Dorothy. Looking forward to see what it really is.
shareI think 'the Beast' is Dorothy's mother, and the second coming of the Beast is Dorothy herself.
shareOr Dorothy's mother is the Witch of the South, which the Beast is said to have killed. Maybe she escaped with her daughter before she could be killed and her daughter is destined to kill the Beast.
shareI think the Beast is going to be the Wizard. They haven't stated how he arrived in this version, but in the books, he came by air balloon. I think they are waving hands and trying to make people think it is Dorothy, but the Wizard also matches the description, and is currently dragging down the world of Oz as a dictator.
