Was surprised because it's an NBC show but you can tell there's a budget behind the show since the cinematography and CGI is actually decent. Not sure what there is too hate on, there aren't too many fantasy shows with an actual budget and it's definitely leagues better than the always-so-campy Once Upon a Time. Hopefully it doesn't get the NBC axe of cancellation before it even has a chance to pick up-that's really my only worry when I'm watching an NBC show.
shareI totally agree. I thought it'd be trashy and low budget, but it's not. It's actually really high quality. Also surprised the viewership is so low, I'd thought there'd be a market for fantasy tv in the Game of Thrones hiatus. Unfortunately, I don't see this getting a second season.

I had some initial doubts as well but once I saw the show I am enjoying it. Not happy when they started comparing it to Game of Thrones.
Have to wonder if we are seeing a repeat of the original Star Trek in that the initial viewer count was low but the show grew on people later on.
Have to also wonder about all the hate against it. Are they really discouraging other people for checking it out? Sort of scary to me really. People need to be able to decide for themselves and not be discouraged by the claims of others.
Yeah, it sucks that fantasy shows don't seem to get a chance. Seems like people are quick to hate on that genre, at least when it comes to TV.

It's not doing too bad at around 3 million.A 0.6 when you're not cheap is terrible.
I can see some of the hate from the start. It did start off pretty slow and could see how people would have been bored by it. I enjoyed it overall but was a little disappointed with the premiere. However, it has continually picked up and gotten better and has become more of the show I imagined when i was first being marketed.
