If it does get cancelled which I doubt. It will be in good company with Star Trek and Firefly that also were cancelled on their first season but went on to become even bigger. I am sure there are other programs as well but I just listed two of my favorites right away.

Hopefully not. With 13 Baum books and the re-telling only covering elements from 3 of them maybe 4. There is a lot more that can be done as for the storyline.
shareIt is intended to be a limited run of 10 episodes, but I am pretty sure that if it received great ratings, then NBC would order a second season. Since it is not doing well, I would be really, as in REALLY, surprised if there is a second season so I recommend enjoying it while it lasts.
shareYea numbers rean't looking good, but i do hope we get a season 2. Detailed episodsynopses from online (which have been right up to this point, so no reason to not beleive they are true throughout) seem to indicate that this season will end on a cliffhanger. So will be disappointed if it ends as such and gets cancelled.
The show started off slow and not as good as I had hoped for but it has consistently improved as the season progressed. Would love to see how a second season might progress now that most of the characters and locales have been established adn how they could expand. There is plenty of potential for future stories/seasons with this show.
If it gets cancelled by NBC I really hope someone else will pick it up.
