Season 2?
They can't just end it like that. There has to be a second season.
Any idea when that might be? Or do you think they scrapped it due to the low fanbase?

It was obviously not written as a limited-run series. The finale had a notable increase in ratings over the previous 6 episodes. EC at this point is neither canceled nor renewed. I think everyone agrees it got better with each week and is now one of the very best fantasy series on TV, whether broadcast or streaming. It certainly shames its lead-in, Grimm, in every way. Leia, I hope NBC renews it. I want to SEE the Beast Forever, dammit! Also, I was very impressed by how well Ana has grown the West character. The snarl is gone from her face and voice, and the venom is gone--but not the spirit. There is real love and kindness in her face 😊. I would miss her, and I would miss talking with you!
shareAw, we can still talk on other boards even if this show is cancelled (which I severely hope it isn't.)
West's character was definitely changed by the end. She was so excited and optimistic, I almost feel bad for her because I don't trust Glinda one bit.
And we did see the Beast Forever briefly. I assume it was the flayed man, who took down his skin, then grew wings and his shadow spread over Oz. I wonder if he was the Beast before the water-related Beast or something, and was just locked away down there all that time...
I don't wanna see shadow, I wanna see substance! But I know what you mean. Give us Season 2! And I'm with you on Glinda. She is a snake, and Joley Richardson did a great job showing her true nature beneath the beaming smile. I bet Glinda was exactly like Ginger when she was young, which is why Ginger got promoted. Glinda's learned social grace, but she's still the same stern bitch beneath the facade.
shareYeah, probably. Glinda seems like the kind of person that didn't get much love when she were young; that or she had everything she wanted so had no reason to get emotionally attached to others.
