I thought they were identical twins, yet only Ronnie wears glasses. Can anyone explain it for me, please? I've searched to no avail. Thanx in advance if you can help, much appreciated as I'm racking my brain trying to figure it out.

I think you'll find the reason Ronnie wore glasses and Reggie didn't was because..and this is a bit complicated to get your head round so bear with me here:

Ronnie had weaker eyes than Reggie.
Amazing isn't it? They're identical twins but one of them needed glasses about 20 years before his brother did...defies nature doesn't it!!?
Actually, Ronnie rarely wore glasses when he was out. This was a directorial decision to individualise him from Reg. The same with cigars.
