This looks amazing -- I hope it will be available on DVD/streaming soon

I am very interested in this documentary; this case was always discussed a great deal in the culture, and I even remember it being discussed in an introductory course in psychology I took years ago as an undergrad. I am very interested to hear Kitty Genovese's brother and his take on this infamous and tragic case.

To think that the legend that was repeated again and again in popular culture -- that Kitty was murdered while she screamed and screamed for help but was ignored by the heartless urban-dwelling dozens who heard her screams and her cries -- isn't even true. Sigh. Anyway it won't come to my area since we don't have any smaller theaters that play films like this one so I desperately hope it will be available on dvd or streaming soon!
