Eugh, he should have left the Mosley thing alone

This is one of those times where he should have just not tried to talk to Mosley or his son. All that did was just leave an even worse taste in your mouth and confirmation of what a remorseless, lying psychopath the dad was. The son didn't seem too great either...all he did was just try to defend the dad and himself. Not an ounce of "Yeah what he did was terrible, I'm sorry for your loss." But saying poor me, poor us, she was using racial slurs, that was 50 years ago not now, don't blame me, hands off...ick.

And then that stupid letter from Winston, coming up with this pure *beep* story of how she got killed. No remorse. no noting, still lying.

a pity. should have left that part alone, unfortunately.I can understand looking and hoping for a shred of humanity, remorse....but instead he just got more lies, BS. too bad.

The son is a jerk. Even if his story was true, so what? You don't kill somebody because they called you a name. What did he expect Bill to say? "I didn't know she called him a *beep* My bad! I'm really sorry for what my sister did to your dad." What an a-hole.

I do not like green eggs and ham. I do not like them or my daughters.

I'm hoping this sheds some light on why it's a good thing he was never paroled! He clearly showed no remorse and spun a web of contradictory lies! He didn't change like he claimed and the fact that his son buys his bull astounds me. If I murdered people for every name of ever been called (not that I believe she did) l'd be the most prolific serial killer in history! I honestly do not know how his son can be a reverend, and how his congregation can consist of anyone! He clearly shows no humility at what his dad did! Blaming everything on kitty, her family and the media... The case would be none existent if he hadn't killed! Also he was clearly a criminal as the reason he was caught was because he was commiting another crime! Bill showed respect beyond my own comprehension at hearing the son of the man that killed his sister defend his murderous father! My heart goes out to Bill and I hope he finds the peace he deserves!

I couldn't believe the son was defending his dad. Blaming the victim, saying he just killed her for saying racial slurs, and implying the family were criminals. He thinks he's only still in prison because of the media attention? Not because he's a violent criminal likely to reoffend?

And how could he possibly not know he murdered another woman too? That crime was even more violent and sadistic
than Kitty's. Plus he broke out of prison and raped even another woman after that. Surely a quick google search of his father's name would have listed his crimes. His son seems like he might be as crazy as his dad or at least he's a very troubled man in deep denial of the horror his father has brought to this world.

reply

I thought the same thing. Did his forget that he broke out of prison and had murderd before? Either in denial or a total fool.

reply

I agree, the whole point of the film was to find out if there was any truth into the fact that 38 people knew she was being attacked and did nothing to stop it. It really did show that the media will falsify things or over exaderate things to sell papers

Bill's meeting with Mosley's adult son was such a waste of time. I couldn't believe the gall of that dude! When Mosley broke out of prison, did he rush home to hug his 2 boys? NO! The sonofabitch raped and murdered another woman.
And the son's excuse that Kitty used racial slurs that provoked his dad to kill her... try again reverend! Mosley made a choice to murder innocent people so the monster is exactly where he needs to be.

The son came across as an utter fanny

It's probably better that he knows for sure now that the man had no remorse at all for what he did. And anyone who watches this will know that too.

Very revealing interview and interaction with the killer's son, and the subsequent letter received from the killer himself. Revisiting the Mosely thing must have given Bill some closure in its stark confirmation of the level of evil that killed his sister. Furthermore, I think Mosley's son inherited some defective genes from his dad. Very weird, convoluted thought process involved with his attempt to blame the victim and disregard his father's other violent misdeeds. Also leads to a disturbing question: what kind of minister is he?

Life is a state of mind.

I would like to watch a documentary on the son coping with what his father was.
