I know she and Petra are identical, but there has to be SOMETHING slightly different about their bodies that Rafael would have noticed, right? I feel like this is a dumb storyline and Rafael should be able to tell the difference. Is he just too distraught over Jane to be paying enough attention?
Maybe not their bodies but certainly her intellect. Unless Aneska has been pretending to be stupid this entire time. It's amazing how she can now master Petra's accent. How is she going to get away with running the hotel? I think the only answer here will be that she has been faking her stupidity.
But she's also an epileptic. She will eventually have another episode, that's another way they can find her out.
I think this storyline will prove how vain Rafael is. Because he won't notice the difference. It'll take someone like Jane to figure it out. One grammatical error and Jane will catch it.
Well that plan she had to email an ad for Jane's writing services to her grad school newpaper seemed a bit smarter than her waitress schtick, so the dumbness could likely be an act.
I think she faked her epilepsy as part of her plan so they'd have an excuse for "Anezka" to be locked into her hospital bed. They needed a reason that people would believe for that to happen to her, so she pretended she had a condition and made sure everyone knew about it.
I also believe she faked it. I do find it odd that Rafael wouldn't notice some differences in bed. Also Petra seems like the type to be perfectly groomed, while Anezka, I'm not so sure. Lol Oh well, Rose ripped a whole face off, so I guess this is plausible.
Remember, Anezka was working with their mother, who probably told her exactly what to do to make her seem believable as Petra, including how to "groom herself" lol. Wasn't it stated that they've been in contact for a year? That's a lot of time for Anezka to be trained on how to be Petra.
I like Yael Grobglas a lot, and she plays Petra and Anezka really well. As strange as it is, though, I'm going to be very disturbed if Petra is "petrafied" for a long time next season. It's not fair. I felt badly for her when, after she was rescued from Ramon Zazo, she really had nobody to talk with or get comfort from, so she had to reach out to her rotten mother. At the same time, I recognized that she had sort of put herself in that position by not developing relationships outside of Rafael (or various men running various agendas). I just don't want people who know Petra to completely accept Anezka, or write off non-Petra type behavior, and never have an inkling of suspicion that something is wrong and Petra is in trouble.
