Do you think this will be the last season?
Seems like the Emmy hype is over and the ratings are bad. I think this may be the last season for the show.
shareBut it is also the only prestige show CW has going for it (I'm not sure if Crazy Ex-Girlfriend gets enough praise to qualify) and one of the very few current network shows to get any critical acclaim at all. It just depends whether the execs deem it worth having 1 critically loved window dressing of a show for the sake of prestige, while running their normal fair as cash cows.
I'm just hoping Netfix would pick it up if it gets axed because the themes are right up their alley and they seem to be picking up a lot of cult left-overs lately.
What other shows has Netflix picked up?

sharei'd consider the Fuller House revival.. the Voltron revival. They picked up the Wet Hot American Summer revival (meant to be a film) and recently announced a sequel series, Arrested Development was picked up there and could see a season 5 filming by the end of next year.
but other streamers have also saved The Mindy Project and Community.
To add to the other shows mentioned, Netflix also picked up Longmire and The Killing after they were dropped by A&E and AMC, respectively. Also, idk if you would count the Gilmore Girls revival, but there's that, too.
shareGG does qualify because they are making an equivalent of 8 eps worth of screentime - that's a short TV season. Bless Netflix!
