Ófærð .... How are Americans going to know that is Icelandic for Trapped?

This is a great series, and IMDB shows it as possibly still going on. One can only hope, but they ought to make it a little more accessible, and not to mention who can pronounce or remember the main star's name?

There are two Icelandic series that really stand out. One is this one, "Trapped" in English, and the other is "Fortitude". Both are really great but oddly Fortitude has two American "guest star", Stanley Tucci, and Dennis Quaid.

very good shows good to watch when the weather is hot outside, also the killing was great ,the lead actor in trapped is a big guy and he changes from scene to scene sad they killed one of the police officers in season 2

you have to read sub titles to understand but strange some times they speak english you can try Wilder it is harder to understand love the big guy hoping for more shows

The new season, third I think, changed the title to "Entrapped". I don't think it is quite as great as the previous two seasons.
The bad guy's funny name is "Danish Hopper", like Dennis Hopper.
I love the little lady Chief of Police, Henrika, played by Ilmur Kristjánsdóttir. And of course, the BIG GUY.
Another great series from the frozen north is "Fortitude".
