Any news about the release?

IMDB says 11th Sept 2015, but there are no more details. It is supposed to be on BBC4, but they can only confirm that it 'will be on' sometime

I read it somewhere that it will premiere on RUV in Iceland on December 27, but I don't know if this is the actual date, since it hasn't been confirmed yet, neither by RUV nor the producers.

I think 11th of September was the day when the first episode was premiered on TIFF.

BUT, I'm sure it will premiere first in Iceland, so I'm guessing maybe in January next year!

Thanks, I'll have to find other things to watch while I wait for it

Well, there is a new movie called "Eiðurinn" or "The oath" in English coming out soon, directed by Baltasar Kormakur. It will be released in the fall in Iceland, but no fixed date yet.

It has a really interesting plot and a great cast. You can find it on imdb under The Oath.

"Finnur is a devoted father and husband, an ordinary man living an ordinary life in a quiet suburb of Reykjavík. When he discovers that his daughter is addicted to drugs, he attempts to save her from her drug-dealing boyfriend. In his desperation he's driven to plan and commit the perfect crime."
