Would you arrest him?(obv spoilers)

Put yourself in Andri's shoes for a hot minute; you're living in your in-laws' house, they're helping you out quite a bit (not just financially), you have a great relationship with the father, and then add the ex-wife scenario with the possibility of getting back the marriage you still wear your ring for.

Now, think about what we know; Hrafn and the others had burned down a building for money, but in the process killed Dagny, who wasn't supposed to be there but they were anyway. Pretty bad, but it does get worse. They covered it up so they could claim the insurance, then ruined a young guy's life by sending him to prison and making him think he caused his girlfriend's painful death, used Eirikur's grief to their advantage, then afterwards Hrafn says "Yeah, well they weren't supposed to be there..."

Do you think you would arrest Eirikur given all that you know as Andri?

Eirikur wouldn't have known this but Andri also knew about the prostitution, the covering up of the other dead guy, covering up a rape, etc.

I don't know if I would, I think I might drop that key into the ocean.

I think it's really easy to say that you would do something and basing it on emotional factor, BUT, I don't think you can really answer that question unless you have experienced it first hand.

Andri said to Eiríkur in the prison cell: "Why didn't you get rid of the key?" Saying, if you had done that, this would probably have been an unsolved case and it wouldn't have put me in this situation of having to imprison my father-in-law. If Eiríkur had done that, it would only been his quilt to live with, not Andri's. But Eiríkur was careless and Andri, in his position, had to do this.

Murder is a murder no matter what. I'm sure that Eiríkur's sentence will not be long. Eiríkur could have given Andri the information he had regarding Hrafn, helping him solving the case, but he decided to let his rage control his action and Siggi killed himself. I know he was part of the team, but he was the loser which could be bossed around. He was not evil, like Hrafn, Leifur and Guðni and didn't deserve to die IMO.

Well it's pretty psychopathic to burn someone alive, no matter what they've done. Having said that, the way Andri collected evidence was totally not legit. He just picked up the key and confronted Eirikur with it without documenting or reporting it in any way, so it would be thrown out of court for chain of custody breaches or whatnot.

True, but later he leaves the key with the other officers for them to finish procedures with Eirikur so he can go tell his family about it. So the key ended up being used as evidence.

He almost threw the key out but didn't. I don't think he could have lived with the other choice, at some point he would have had to tell the truth about finding it. I think I would have made the same choice, or if I had impulsively thrown the key away, I would have had to confess about finding and throwing out the key later.

Hes a murderer. Wasnt his choice to end his life.
