About the twins...

If they had their powers at least during birth why didn't Claire have energy shooting out of her? They both would have been in contact with her at the same time at one point either inside of her or coming out. Is the world saver blast only active if the conduit is holding their hands? Just something I was thinking about.

reply

The world saver blast was a complete cop out.

How on earth does it make sense that when a time traveller and an energy manipulator touch it shoots a massive world saving blast?

Guarantee you Tim Kring is going to try and spin it as "Oh, Claire actually died because after Tommy took her powers she was inadvertently used as a conduit for Tommy and Malina"

reply

Tommy isn't a time traveler, he's a power stealer, like Peter, only Tommy takes the powers, not only copies them. Why do you think Hiro lost his powers when Tommy gained his?

Im Buffy, im New.

reply

Malina's powers didn't manifest until she was older?

reply

I know that, but that does not mean she didn't have powers as a newborn, we just saw a fetus use telekinesis because it's mother was upset. I just remember Angela being worried about them touching even as babies to keep Tommy from taking Malina's power.

reply

Was that the fetus's power or the mom's because it was discovered her dad was an Eco?

reply

Maybe their powers didn't manifest yet?

reply

Clearly their powers manifested in the womb. That's how he could take Clair's ability to heal. And then Hiro's.

So malina should have had hers.
When we see her at age 6 or 7 at primatech, she had her powers just like her brother.

reply

And Tommy isn't just a time traveller. He's like Peter was. Maybe their father is Sylar?

reply

Tommy is like Arthur not Peter.

reply

Nathan's powers were a combination of his grandfather's power and uncle's second ability; He took other evos powers like Arthur but he could only retain one at a time like Peter's second power.

reply

The Wonder Twin force field ray thing was just, now that I think about it, so horrible. So... half-baked. That and the way they made Tommy "duplicate" himself to be in two places at once when he can stop time.

I used to like this show, I loved Hiro returning, I loved Katana Girl fighting Harris Prime to the death. But this finale left an awful taste in my mouth.

reply

The whole thing with Nathan did feel like a bit of deus ex machina, didn't it?

reply

you DO know basic biology is that fraternal twins have SEPARATE WOMBS, right? esp if they are b/g twins. they NEVER TOUCHED in the womb.

Go ask an adult if you can't understand this basic biology concept.

You do know that the power works best when they are not touching each other but when they have a conduit right? It works with both of them being in physical contact with a living being at the same time. They would have both been in physical contact with Claire at the same time regardless of being fraternal twins.

Go watch the show before trying to be a smart ass.

reply

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA wait HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

BASIC BIOLOGY?! Are you kidding me? Was she a Kangaroo?
A human woman comes with one. Twins still share a womb. They have their own amniotic sac within their mothers uterus, but they still share the same space. If Nathan was connected to Clair enough to take her powers, he was equally connected to Malina. Like charging two phones from the same outlet.

I think you should ask an adult Brainlock2. Preferably a female, because you have no clue what you are on about.

reply

womb, amniotic sac, same difference.
you know what I meant and it's still light years smarter than most of the BS posted to this series.

tbh, the only other term I could think of was "afterbirth", which I knew was wrong, but that's what we called that nasty pile the hogs left after throwing a litter growing up. at least she didn't turn around and eat the damn thing.
that always made me want to retch.
