Did they delete a scene in the finale?

I got the impression that they did deleted a scene at the end. I mean, in every other Heroes season after it says "End Volume" it then goes to another scene that says the next volume number. In the finale last night after it said "End Volume" the music was still going. It seemed like they cut it off before it showed "Volume 2". This is all just speculation on my part, but if that was really the last scene why didn't the music end instead of being cut off like that?

Pretty sure every other finale they had they knew they were coming back while this one was up in the air. It's possible they filmed a start of volume 2 scene in case it was renewed, and since it wasn't they just didn't show it.
