Heroes Reborn:

1) Disappointed
2) Pleasantly Surprised

I vote DISAPPOINTED. The writers did not learn at all from their mistakes the first time. They also destroyed the legacy of the returning characters. They did not know how to use any of them. I wish that they never brought any of these characters back. I will not watch another Volume if there is one.

1B) Disappointed but will watch future episodes if they are stupid enough to make them so I can get all the "I survived..." T-shirts.

If at first you don't succeed, keep trying til you find someone to blame.

I liked it..

I don't even visit pages of shows I do not like, I am not a whiny-bitch that way..

1) Disappointed.

I gave it the benefit of the doubt that it would deliver the payoff. The now-unwrapped present held nothing. Looking back at the season and all the characters who came and went, not one had any depth. The writers spent their time trying to give depth to the 'villains' and no time at all for the Heroes Reborn.

I'm neither. It's a different story, new and old characters. I take it for what it is and enjoy it. Maybe I understand both series better than those who don't get it, but I don't try to take it apart. Maybe it needed more depth, but when there are limited episodes and much more content available, it will seem rushed and choppy. If people wouldn't be so critical, NBC would have given them more episodes to work with.

The show didn't need more episodes to work, the people responsible needed to work more on making the existing episodes relevant to the main plot. It also wouldn't have hurt if they hadn't tried to "surprise" viewers so much they created plot holes all over the place.

Pleasantly surprised but disappointed with the finale!

After reading some really negative reviews on here I thought it was going to be really, really bad but it was actually ok, I enjoyed it overall, even with some of the plot holes and some wooden acting. I don't think it matched up to the original but then that series itself declined quite a bit anyway.

I did love all the callbacks to the original show and I liked that they kept the beginning and ending format (and the voiceover) the same.

I just wished they had put less focus on the young characters. Lets face it HRG is awesome, loved Matt Parkman, Erika Kravitz was a good baddie, Hiro was as lovable as ever and Quentin was a great new character, so if it had been more of them (ok we got quite a bit HRG, but then you can never have too much!) and less about the kids, I would have been happier.

In the finale, they ended up with the worst characters left (alive) - I didn't mind Tommy but the other survivors were all pretty boring.

I would have watched another series but a new storyline would have been needed - saving the world has been done too much.
