I didn't have a grudge against Tim Kring or a reason to dislike this show going in, nor was I a huge Heroes fan (the last few seasons were a chore).
While the execution of Heroes Reborn was sometimes weak and the FX spotty, at least this show was ambitious in its scope and chucked some cool ideas into the superhero mix.
I was entertained and I found it more watchable than, say, Agents of SHIELD, Powers, current Arrow or Legends of Tomorrow.

I can agree that it was more watchable than the ones you mentioned, but Kring created something so lovely with Heros, this one just took away all that. I still love Sylar though.
