No other Chinese in Orlando?
Why didn't they go to Disney World and wait at the entrance? They probably would have seen some relatives.

shareYep, it's definitely the least accurate documentary since "An Inconvenient Truth." They must be trying for a Nobel Peace prize or something, that's how bad it is. Thanks for pointing this all out!
shareI lived in Orlando in the late 90s. There were tons of Asian families there. More than most of the places I lived
shareThe Puerto Rican population overshadows the Chinese population in Orlando.
shareI went to Orlando quite often in the 90's. At least 50% of independent motels in the area are owned and operated by Taiwanese families. Cheap and just OK in quality. Only 10 to 20 minutes driving distance to Disney World.
shareIn the 90s, my kung fu temple (Wah Lum) was both at EPCOT at Disney as well as traveling around Orlando performing lion dances (like the one in the restaurant) and kung fu for local businesses. At that time, there were certainly tons of Asians, especially Vietnamese. CNY would be easy to celebrate at that time!
sharethat episode was pretty funny, the south east asians, lol!!
"if you could breathe normally the next day, you weren't there" lol!!
we went to orlando in 2005.
found a chinese resto and the owners were from HK.
Same thing in Salzburg, Austria.
Or they could had taken the next flight to DC, since they missed the original flight.
Or they could driven the entire family to DC in their van. It takes about 12 hours from Orlando to DC driving by car?
i know right? hard to believe there were no other chinese families in their area.
