Eddie and his friends are the best part of the show

Consistently the only laughs I get from this show are when Eddie and his friends are together. Their interactions are hilarious and I'm really glad that they focus on them relatively a lot.

Anyone else feel the same?

I never really got hooked on the show that much but I cant stand eddie he's annoying as f^k to me his 2 brothers also seem kinda pointless on the show.

IDK I guess its cause he and his friends are living though the 90s so experiencing everything I did. Like tonight with the Tupac argument. Remember having this argument for years with my friends on who killed Tupac and if he faked his death.

Lol what's funny is that in 1996 I was Emery's age, 10-11 and like him, I started middle school in 1996, but yes, the Tupac arguements were legendary. It took me about 10 years to finally come to terms that Pac really was dead lol

I like the whole show and cast. I love the diversity of Eddie and his friends. If anyone I feel is pointless it's the grandma. She has one maybe two witty lines in chinese per episode and that's it.

Yeah I forgot about the grandmother, they should make it more like how everybody loves raymond was where it mainly revolves around the adults an the kids only showed up when it was part of the storyline, but I guess if its all supposed to be about that eddie kid it wouldnt work to well.

Unless they bring in another old person for her to play off of, I don't see a need for the grandma. I remember in season 1 there was a hilarious plot with her and another elderly relative who thought that the delivery man was OJ Simpson lol, it was 1995 so they were incorporating the hysteria of the OJ trail into the show. That's what I love about this show, the nostalgia. As a kid in the 90's and now 30, it's refreshing to see a show with Lunchables, Capri Sun, the hilarity of trying to watch Cinemax as a kid, the Tupac conspiracies. Fresh off the Boat is a breath of fresh air.
