I wondered if they will touch a subject on anime...

I know anime was mainly Japan and around the mid 90s, there was a huge explosion of Dragon Ball Z, Sailor Moon, among others. It would be interesting to see how Jessica would respond to that. Around that time, animators always picked fun on Japanese culture with a touch on Westernization, which is in all anime movies, shows, or video arcade/games. Japan around the 90s was such a huge contribution to their products. Before China came into the picture, there was Japan.

Season 3 takes place in 1996. It really didn't become mainstream until about 98.
They should mention Ghost in the Shell or Akira though.
