Does Anyone Remember?

The Wonder Years? It was a show that debuted in 1988, but it was set 20 years prior, in 1968, just like this show which made its debut in 2015, and is also set 20 years prior in 1995.

WY, and, FOtB, are similar that, the Wonder Years centered on a kid as the main character, with an adult voice as the narrator, and no laugh track, that's my point. The Goldbergs is another show along that line. I think I like that show a little better, because it is set in the 80's and I grew up in the 80's.

The Wonder Years was an awesome show. In fact, you can watch every episode on Netflix with much of the music intact.

If you're not taking any steps forward, you're not moving at all.

Fresh Off the Boat is a comedy first, while I felt the Wonder Years was definitely a drama first.

A dramedy is what "The Wonder Years" was called. Though it was somewhat dark and depressing at times, it was a much better show than "FotB".
