They're not too far off from reaching the 2000's

DiCaprio's Romeo and Juliet was released in 1996.

When the show started it was set in 1995, now that it's on season 2 it would make sense.

I feel like this over the goldbergs is more true to the era it's supposed to be based in. I'm betting if it lasts it'll go into the 2000s

I was a teenager in the 90's… Now I guess all the years are blurring with me… I could had sworn Jingle All The Way came out in 1999!

If that's the case, I'm hoping for a major Y2K panic. Evan, Jessica and Marvin would be the most affected. Marvin would build a bunker and Jessica would help him, and everyone else would think it's ridiculous.

I remember how big of a deal it was to enter the year 2000. Man, I can't believe that was 17-years ago already. This show does a good job of bringing the '90s back.
