All the indicators show this is in 1996, the Tamagotchi, Space Jam, Romeo + Juliet EXCEPT Too $hort's Album, Cocktails was debuted in 1995.

I was more disappointed that they mentioned the 1996 version of Romeo and Juliet than the depressing-yet-beautiful 1968 perfection.

Well, I don't think they would have gone to the theater to see the 1968 version...LOL. But I do agree...it is the better version.

A bigger mess up is showing a Pikachu in 1996. While the show had just come out in Japan, America had no idea what Pokemon was and they weren't selling merch to horde.

People knew what it was. You think 315 million people and no one knew about Pokemon? The nerd at my school knew of it. The corner game store had kids and their Pokemon cards.

I think the only Americans who would have heard about Pokémon before its American release were hardcore game nerds. The average joe wouldn't have known about it.

Listen to yourself, moron. So it's in 1996, how is having a CD from 1995 not possible? Stupid moron trying to nitpick and complain about nothing. It's not like it's 1995 and the space jam 1996 is in it. It's a *beep* TV show, not a documentary. Stop being a little bitch about it.
