How is that an odd reference? The show was still in production on the first season, even though ABC decided to cancel. That doesn't mean that subsequent episodes wouldn't be part of the first season. A cancellation doesn't negate the entirety of the show.

shareI'm a decade older than the character and only know of the movie by name. I have no idea who's in it, or what it's about. I know I've seen Rosemary's Baby as a kid, but know that most of the time when it's referenced, its just because they're saying that the child in question is very bad or that the father of the child is evil.
There's plenty of referencing that is only meant to make a point without even expereincing the source material.
