How to 'save' Selfie

Here is how to help. I took it from the "Save Selfie" Facebook page:

Hello Selfie Squad! I wanted to let everyone know that I just called Hulu again today as well as Netflix and for Hulu, my representative let me know that they are receiving on average, 300-500 calls a day from Selfie Fans, asking for a second season! He let me know that Hulu has NOTICED the high response to our show, but more will do a tremendous amount! Netflix has been receiving calls but not to the extent of Hulu!

Here is the information again to call the customer service phone number for Hulu, it is 877-485-8411(http://gethuman.com/contact/Hulu/) and for Netflix, 800-585-8131 (http://gethuman.com/phone-number/Netflix/customer-service--8399/). Let them know how much a second season of Selfie would mean to you!!

For Phone calls to Paul Lee at ABC, leave a brief message (30 seconds) on the ABC viewer feedback line. Dial 1-818-460-7477 and press 1, 2, 2, then 735. You can also call ABC's Burbank office to leave Mr. Lee a message: 1-818-560-1000 (Burbank, CA) Ask for Paul Lee's voicemail, and ask politely, what is going on with Selfie and if the rights are being sold! The message will be recorded and saved, not deleted!

We cannot give up! We cannot give in! Keep Fighting Selfie Squad!! Today just take ten minutes to save this great show, by sending an email and making a phone call to Hulu and Netflix! Let them know how much we want a second season and then Call ABC asking for a second season or for the rights to be sold!! This is our opportunity! We cannot waste it! Don't stop fighting!!! #saveSelfie #SelfieSecondSeason

Has these save campaigns ever worked before?

Rarely, but they do on occasion save a show. I know that Jericho was saved with a save campaign. And Studios like Sony Pictures Entertainment have made it their mission to save their shows when they can.

Cougar Town was saved by TBS, but for me, every year for the last 3 years, there has been an ABC show that could not be saved: Happy Endings, Trophy Wife, and i'm pretty sure that Selfie is the next one. :(

I think some of them did. In any case, it can't hurt.

Several shows have in fact been saved by fan response including Arrested Development, Friday Night Lights & Roswell. Firefly got a movie made if I recall. Community has been picked up by Yahoo Screen. So there is hope, especially now with online streaming venues looking for content.

A Selfie fan recently reported that when they called Hulu to request that they save Selfie, the rep told him that they are getting 300 to 500 calls a day about Selfie and that they are "looking into it."

Derp, and I now see that the hulu info was already mentioned in the original post. Ha ha my bad. But the point is, it can't hurt, and *might* work, so might as well try.

Just recently, there was huge fan movement to save Longmire that was successful. A & E cancelled it even thought was the channel's 2nd highest rated show. The fans came together to help save it and Netflix picked it up for another season.
