Just watched "Imperfect Harmony"... both Karen and John knocked their songs out of the park. The episode had depth that was totally missing from earlier in the run when having some depth might have saved it.

Sometimes the only choices you have are bad ones... But you still have to choose.
I wonder if the high notes were really her, or it slipped into a dub... but I didn't really care because it was a terrific moment that of course happens after the show is cancelled.

There's a point where she starts sounding almost operatic, before the other version fades in when she get off the stage. I'm sure there was some looping and/or digital manipulation, it's obvious she's not singing live at that point at least, but if that's even anywhere close to what she sounds like she has a prettier voice than I realized. She kinda sang once on Dr. Who if I recall, but it wasn't anything like that. Too bad, they could have showcased that more had the show continued.

She needs to make a cover of that song. It was my first time hearing it, and I had goosebumps. It was very ethereal. I liked it a little more than the original.
