Edits of the unaired episodes.

I watched the last 5 episodes last night. I think I waited too long and missed episode 8. Anyway, I caught about 4 or 5 instances of the "S" word spread throughout these episodes, which of course wouldn't be able to be used in the broadcast versions.

I was just wondering. Would the episodes have always been written like that and then just edited down using alternate takes to be TV friendly, or did they purposely add in the profanity after knowing that the episodes would not be aired on television?

Guessing they would have either bleeped them, like they do in some shows, or substituted the word for something more family friendly.

I asked one of my friends and he said this show bleeped the language. I guess it's been so long since I watched the series on TV that I didn't remember it.

It seems like shows that want to go there, just self-censor, and expect audiences to fill in the blank.

Most recently, it was either ep 7 or the finale of Galavant, where they bleeped out an expletive and there's no doubt it was in the script.

'Cause while I'm looking at me...
I'm hoping to find you.
