the wittiest, fastest comedic timed acting I have seen for a while.
And this show is actually SAYING something relevant.
Haven't quite got to the end but I sort of understand that maybe it was cancelled because the networks didn't know 'where it would go' after/if she was 'made over'.
Tbh maybe one more season could show her continuing to monitor her bad habits and , he learning from her , finishing on a highish note. Just like Pygmalion.
They could still include the ups and downs of their romantic relationship before it ended and season 2 would tie up other loose ends for the other characters.
On the other hand maybe it is just enough to have seen such a sparkling fun show like this and the small success of it will open new doors for these actors.
David Harewood is a revelation . John Cho wonderfully expressive. And Karen Gillan just shines with natural comedic talent.
I just wished they could've have been used more.
I'll miss this show :(

Agreed. What a great show. I hadn't heard anything about it and just clicked on it one day and surprisingly found it very current but super endearing. I really loved the 2 leads together, it's rare that you have a show with actual chemistry between the cast.

Hopefully Hulu or Netflix will pick it up. And perhaps they should change the title.

Yes, finally a witty, fun, contemporary diverse comedy with great characters only to disappear quickly. 😢

I will very much miss this show, was very upset when network didn't the rest of the episodes, but pleasantly surprised that HULU decided to air the unaired episodes. I'm watching the last few episodes now, and enjoying it very much, even though my heart is breaking a little.
